He is most famous for the eerie cult classic Nightide starring Dennis Hopper in his first leading role. The film also featured a small silent cameo from Cameron, the occult artist and partner of the late Jack Parsons. Cameron herself was the subject of one of Harrington's earlier short films The Wormwood Star (1956).
