Commissioned by the High Council during its October 1900 assembly for a formal resume of the society's history, this monograph by Westcott (a co-founder of The Golden Dawn), outlines the establishment and evolution of the S.R.I.A. (founded originally in 1866) and its connection to broader esoteric and Rosicrucian traditions.
