The strange world of Rosaleen Norton. This copy includes an A4 (folded) invitation to the book launch as well as a card (blank inside) with a colour illustration of Norton's Black Magic painting, which was issued by Keith Richmond's Basilisk Bookshop.
Rosaleen Norton (1917-1979) sometimes known as "The Witch of Kings Cross" was an Australian artist and occultist whose earthy and sexualised portraits of Pagan deities and their revelries often scandalised polite society (and especially the tabloids). This is the definitive biography and contains much previous unpublished images and material.
