Before becoming a legendary book series, RE/Search was a magazine. Started in San Francisco in 1980 by V. Vale as a successor to his punk themed Search and Destroy, these first issues covered the likes of Non, Throbbing Gristle, J.G. Ballard, Sun Ra, Punk Prostitutes, Kathy Acker, cannibalism, Zev, Noise, Conspiracies and much more.
