nd 1950s approx 255mm square cross made of soft wood and painted red (unpainted reverse). Numerous small chips and paint loss, one cross tip with 10mm piece broken off. G+.
A rendition of the cross pattée, or Templar Cross. It is believed that this cross formed part of a set featuring planetary sigils and was part of the magic circle display in the Witches Mill. It was acquired circa 2005 (post Boscastle flood) when several items were sold by the late Dave Evans on behalf of the museum.
