Opening with a photograph of a stern looking Gardner, this guidebook gives a brief history of the mill before going on to define various esoteric terms such as sorcery, necromancy etc. This is followed by a detailed description of the contents of the 18 display cases. The illustrations take up double spreads and are the same as those that were issued as postcards. Gardner features prominently in most, standing next to various exhibits and leaving no doubt as to whose museum this is!
